The Story Behind Keef the Beef Steakhouse
Keef the Beef is a homegrown steak restaurant in Singapore that was established during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown. What started as a passion project in a small kitchen quickly grew into a neighbourhood outlet, eventually expanding into a full-fledged steakhouse in a Colonial Bungalow.
Our signature dish, "The PL," is inspired by the legendary Brooklyn-style Peter Luger butter-broiled steak, cooked at high temperatures to trigger the Maillard reaction*, which enhances the steak's natural sweetness and creates rich, multidimensional flavours.
